Graduate Project Manager

We have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our growing team

We need a dynamic, multi skilled individual to work in our operations department with a keen eye for detail to work along our installation manager & operations director to deliver exciting playground installation projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction/playground industry is beneficial
  • Knowledge of health & safety would be beneficial
  • Skilled in Microsoft excel & have strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Customer relationship experience
  • Some experience in a project role is desirable
  • Have great organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Practical, pragmatic and positive – finding solutions

 

Responsibilities:

  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate constructions methods
  • Handing over work specifications/instructions on to the installation teams
  • Working closely with the installation manager to manage and control multiple ongoing projects
  • Using a CRM system to coordinate internal resources, suppliers and sub-contractors to complete the project
  • Create and manage construction phase plans for projects
  • Working closely with the sales team – interpret the specification and meet the expectation of the salesperson & customer
  • Manage and plan projects within accordance with relevant health & safety guidelines
  • Manage project budgets, define estimated costs and manage actual project spend against forecast
  • Reporting on completed projects
  • Be able to resource plan
  • An open, honest professional temperament with a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to deliver under pressure
  • Be able to clearly communicate and articulate solutions to complicated problems – be able to engage with both non-technical and technical people
  • Thrive in problem solving and be able to find solution to problems quickly

 

Job Details

  • Job Title: Junior Project Manager

  • Salary: 23K – 28K per annum depending on experience
  • Holiday Entitlement: 20 Days per annum plus bank holidays (with a 5-6 days over our Christmas Shutdown awarded on target)
  • Hours per week: 40 Hours
  • Start date: October
