Playground Equipment For Key Stage 1 Children
Our uniquely designed Key Stage 1 playground equipment will take your children onto the next level and help them discover their natural strengths and weaknesses.
We’ll further develop children’s spoken language, physical literacy, climbing confidence, social interaction, communication and their understanding of the world.
From the initial meeting with Rachel to discuss potential plans, and her subsequent visits to make sure our projects were exactly what we needed, we felt fully supported. Rachel had some lovely ideas which have worked out really well and the children and staff love them. What was an unused bit of the field has become a well-used all weather football pitch, and what was a muddy seating area has become an all-weather area with lovely benches and a super gazebo which can be used for somewhere quiet to sit, or an outdoor classroom... during the first few weeks of the autumn term it was also used as a meeting room on one occasion, versatility at its best! The installation was trouble free and we had constant communication from both the contractors on site and the wider team at Pentagon. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We are delighted with our new outdoor lab. It has exceeded our expectations and we are devising new opportunities for outdoor learning every week
Diane Hunt - Heage Primary School, Derbyshire
The service from Pentagon has been excellent from start to finish. We found the initial visits very helpful and informative and it was really useful to be provided with a landscaping plan. The installation team were polite, friendly and worked extremely efficiently to get the work completed in as quick a time as possible. The follow up service has also been supportive and we will definitely be coming back to Pentagon for future play equipment purchases.
Laura Green - Tacolneston & Morley CE VA Primary Schools Federation, Norfolk
The contractors were very friendly and accommodating. They have got on with the job in poor weather conditions and always had a positive, approachable, can-do attitude. They're a credit to the company.

The main objectives when developing the playground was to encourage physical activity in a fun and engaging way. The fantastic variety of equipment provides physical challenges that develop balance, hand to eye coordination, climbing confidence, upper and lower body strength, core stability and gross motor skills, but more than this it aids the development of a vivid and creative imagination within our children. New and wonderful games have been invented since the installation of the outdoor gym and trim trail and it is great to see the children work together to come up with rules and strategies for these games. I have even heard children talking about push and pull forces when on some of the gym equipment, showing that they are able to apply their knowledge to the outside world. Working with Pentagon Play has been a pleasant experience. Despite difficulties with lockdown in March Pentagon Play did everything they could to ensure we could have our playground installed and ready for use before the children came back. It was an amazing surprise for the pupils. Communication has always been clear and speedy. I would definitely recommend Pentagon Play to other schools.
Kim Leathley – Westminster Primary Academy and Children’s Centre, Blackpool
We are absolutely thrilled with our new outdoor space and it has been wonderful to watch how the children have engaged with it since we returned to school – the water wall is a particular hit! Thank you to all of the team at Pentagon who made the process of planning, designing and installing our play space so easy (and enjoyable!) We felt fully listened to and involved at every stage and each member of the team that we have encountered has been friendly and professional. We know that our new outdoor space is going to support and enhance our children’s learning and development for many years to come. We very much hope to work with you again in the future as we move to phase 2 of our plan and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to other schools.
