Playground Equipment For Key Stage 2
As Key Stage 2 learners progress and become more and more mature, they need to have access to an outdoor learning environment that still pushes them to achieve more.
At this stage in their development, children have identified certain strengths and weaknesses that they have and our innovative playground designs can help children develop their strengths further and help rectify their weaknesses. For instance, our Multi-Use-games-Area (MUGA) will give children the platform to practice a sport that they are naturally gifted at and a Wildlife Area can be used to introduce children to concepts such as PH levels which will help prepare them for topics in secondary school.
The children are keen and excited to go outside, they play imaginatively in the mud kitchen area, they love climbing, jumping and creating obstacle courses with the large blocks - and it’s super to see them developing their balance and core strength and exploring different ways to move and jump, which all helps with developing their gross motor skills for things like writing. They also have to challenge themselves to both analyse and to take risks. They love the climbing wall and again this builds muscle strength and is important for developing their fine and gross motor ability. The artificial grass has completely changed the appearance of the area and it means the outdoor area looks more tidy and with more appealing. It makes the whole area an outdoor space that reflects our approach to outdoor learning at BCS - it is welcoming yet still natural. The different areas are clearly defined encouraging independence and they support learning across the Early Years curriculum

Cat Ketley - Thorns Primary School, Brierley Hill
We are more than happy with the service we have received, very impressed with the installation and how it was managed but also the customer service too. We would definitely recommend Pentagon to other schools locally and in our MAT.
Samantha Barlow – St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School, Suffolk
Although we no longer look after St Bernadette’s School/Nursery I have just been to visit and look at the works to the play area. I would good like to say what a lovely good job your men have done and it’s a great improvement to the area.
I have recommended your Company to all the Schools I manage and hopefully you can assist them in the future
Alison Berry - Blackpool Council, Blackpool
The Pentagon process was efficient and smoothly executed. The consultation was friendly and informative and follow up not at all pushy. We had to await the result of applied grant funding and there was no undue pressure whilst that process was occurring.
Installation date mutually agreed as soon as funding was confirmed. The installation crew were very flexible, adapting initial plans where required. They arrived on site early and started work early despite horrendous weather conditions! They were friendly, professional and interacted with interested children appropriately!
Ultimately the children are delighted with the installation as are parents and staff. It really has added value to our field and made our play area more attractive.
