I am beyond excited to start my new journey at Pentagon having previously worked in the education sector for the past 7 years. I graduated from the University of Winchester as a Primary School Teacher and look forward to unleashing my creative side to transform ideas into reality. I feel very fortunate that my role at Pentagon is incredibly rewarding as I will be working with schools and early years settings across the South West to design inspiring outdoor educational play spaces.
Having worked in a variety of educational settings, I have been fortunate enough to learn and gain a deep understanding of what is necessary for children’s development. I have seen the benefits children get when they are provided regular opportunities to take their learning outside due to its versatile nature. As Roald Dahl once said, “The more risks you allow children to take, the better they learn to take care of themselves.” School was a very positive experience for me and the passion I have for outdoor learning is something I want to translate across when working with schools so that I can ensure children’s outdoor learning experiences are happy, fun and memorable!
Outside of work, I love to travel! Before I started at Pentagon I spent 4 months travelling around South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying lots of new things! I am also a major foodie, yoga enthusiast and love spending time with my nearest and dearest.
