Holiday entitlement - 20 Days per annum plus bank holidays

Hours per week - 42.5 (With 1 hours Paid breaks per day (15min / 30min / 15min) dependant on shift rotation)

We have an opportunity for a Production Operative / Bench Joiner to join our growing team.

We need a dynamic, multi-skilled individual to work in our Warehouse and Manufacturing department alongside our Warehouse and Workshop Supervisors to deliver exciting playground installation projects.

How will you support us?

 

The roles and responsibilities of this position are detailed below and include, carrying out ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Production Operations Manager, as well as collaborating with Sales, Design, Products, and Accounts to ensure a smooth ruining and cost-effective Warehouse and Workshop.

As part of the production team, you will play a hands-on role in the manufacturing and assembly of our products prior to dispatch. It is a fast-moving role that will see you assembling products for use within a child friendly environment.

A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow specific manufacturing processes are key to the role.

This is a physical role that involves carrying and lifting, so you will need to be comfortable with being on your feet for most of the day. You may occasionally be required to work overtime and weekends during peak times. These are prior to and during school holiday periods.

You will also need to be literate and numerate and demonstrate confident communication skills as you will liaise with colleagues at all levels of management on a day-to-day basis. Good organisational and administration skills are also a key to this role, as is your ability to work well within a team.

Internal Stock Management

  • Use of all the correct materials and components as per manufacturing drawings
  • Inputting data on the company’s web-based CRM system
  • Ensuring internal stock levels are correct and notify supervisors of any deficiencies

Time Management

  • Following daily / weekly production lists
  • Completing workflow daily according to the dispatch list
  • Ability to adapt workload to meet changes to schedules
  • Flexibility to cover additional workload and dispatch schedules

Production Responsibilities

  • Cutting and measurement of raw materials
  • Building of stock / standard product
  • Building of “Bespoke” one off item’s when required
  • Quality control of your own and others work
  • Keeping workshop & warehouse / Yard tidy
  • Be health and safety conscious
