Customer Care Coordinator

We're recruiting a customer care coordinator to work within our Operations department and help with the delivery of our playground projects. Communication is the key to the role, making sure our customers are informed, listened to, in the loop every step of their project and left delighted at the end, especially because of our service. You'll build relationships with headteachers, teachers, site managers, bursars and business managers, and hand-hold them throughout their playground project. From point of order and the date the job is booked in, to the run up to the install date, progress of the job on site, completion and sign off and hand over to the customer, you'll be ensuring our customers know what is going on. If plans change or problems arise it will be your proactive handling of them that will turn them into positive experiences, where solutions are offered and the customer left with no surprises. Unflappable, organised and positive in your approach, you'll make a real difference to the company through our customer's positive experience of their playground install.

Experience/education

 

  • Experience in customer relationship roles

  • Excellent verbal communication

  • Excellent written skills

  • Knowledge of the education sector is beneficial

  • Proficient on Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Task/responsibilities

 

  • Contact customers over the phone and by email to pass on key project information

  • Take customer calls and listen, answer questions

  • Relay information to the Operations team

  • Solve customers problems whenever possible

  • Gain customer insights and pass on feedback to all teams

  • Update project information ​on our cloud software system

  • Record customer conversations and emails on our cloud software contact/action log

  • Issue project completion forms

  • Manage the after care process

  • Record and report on customer satisfaction data

  • Salary: £17,000 with bonuses

  • Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus bank holidays (with a Christmas shutdown bonus scheme).
