Salary - £8.23 + per hour dependant on age and experience / with paid overtime

Holiday entitlement - 20 Days per annum plus bank holidays

Hours per week - 42.5 (With 1 hours Paid breaks per day (15min / 30min / 15min) dependant on shift rotation)

Reports to - Manufacturing Operations Manager

 

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team.

We need a dynamic, multi skilled individual to work in our Warehouse and Manufacturing department alongside our Warehouse and Workshop Supervisors to deliver exciting playground installation projects.

How will you support us?

 

The roles and responsibilities of this position are detailed below and include, carrying out ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Production Operations Manager, as well as collaborating with Sales, Design, Products, and Accounts to ensure a smooth running and cost-effective Warehouse and Workshop.

Stock Management

  • Control of raw materials for stock, production and delivery to various sites
  • Carrying out daily stock audits with the Warehouse and Workshop Supervisors
  • Investigating and rectifying any issues with stock levels when identified in the audits
  • Communicating weekly stock level results to the Production Operations Team
  • Liaising with supervisors regarding returns and/or missed delivery queries
  • Maintaining the lean stock systems and documentation to ensure materials are stored safely and securely within the warehouse storage facility
  • Reporting damaged parts on deliveries and preparation for returns if needed
  • Ensuring deliveries are correct and in perfect condition upon arrival
  • All deliveries to be checked and stored within given timescales

Internal Stock Management

  • Ensuring that internal components are transferred to relevant department when required
  • Inputting data on the company’s web-based CRM system
  • Ensuring that all products are picked and located correctly

Time Management

  • Following daily / weekly dispatch lists
  • Completing workflow daily according to the dispatch list
  • Ability to adapt workload to meet changes to schedules
  • Flexibility to cover additional workload and delivery schedules

  • Skilled in using computer based systems and processes
  • Skilled in building relationships and meeting the expectations of various stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of Lean Stock Management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proven record of showing initiative
  • A proven record of working to set programs and deadlines
  • Experience in manufacturing and warehousing
  • Current forklift licence preferable but not nessasary
