Playground Sales Consultant

We're looking for a playground sales consultant to join our Northern office (near Manchester). You'll be working mainly with primary schools, be an education and play enthusiast, and design and sell outdoor play environments to help meet the educational and developmental needs of children. The role is a varied and challenging one, which will see you become an education expert, a skilled designer, adept in site-surveying with an in-depth technical knowledge of our materials, products and install processes. We'll help you get there with thorough training; you'll need to be a creative thinker, confident and outgoing, good at listening and communicating. You'll help to turn a customer's initial enquiry into an order for a fantastic playground through a consultative approach. Experience in education - such as teaching experience - would be an advantage.

Job Details


  • Job Title: Outdoor Learning Consultant

  • Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

  • Place of Work: Northern Office (Near Alderley Edge) - however you may be required to travel long distances, with possible staying away

  • Salary: £18,000 + Dependent on experience, with a generous commission structure. Expected earnings in your first year of £25,000, and around £35,000 - £40,000 based on your third year targets

  • Extras: Company Car, Laptop and Mobile Phone contribution

  • Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus bank holidays (with a Christmas shutdown bonus scheme)

  • Hours per Week: 40 (but flexible)

  • Start Date: March

  • Pension: Company pension scheme
