Playground Sales Enquiry Coordinator

We're looking to recruit a bright, sales aware team player who can take all our office sales calls and website enquiries and book in quality meetings for our field sales team. You'll listen and talk to our potential customers, mainly over the phone but also via Webchat, and be able to determine the potentially great playground projects from the not so great, booking in meetings with headteachers, teachers, school business managers and bursars. You'll be a key person in the sales process, making a fantastic first impression with prospective customers and friendly and familiar in existing relationships, laying the foundations that will hopefully lead to a successful sales meeting, another great playground project, and improve the play and learning experiences of thousands children. You'll be integral to the sales team, and they will come to rely on you. The Role

You'll work within the Sales team, under careful direction of the Sales Director. You will become the first point of contact for our valued customers. This will involve building rapport and handling communications via the phone, emails, website and our website live chat help desk (TIDIO). In a nut shell, your role will be to organise and respond to customer enquiries and qualify whether they are suitable for our Sales Consultants to visit.

You will be fully supported with the appropriate training given, to:

  • Be our first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries over the phone

  • Deal with online enquires from the company’s website

  • Interact with customers online via our website live chat help desk (TIDIO)

  • Correspond in a timely fashion with customers via email

  • Have the opportunity to secure sales orders over the phone and from submitting Tender proposals

  • Convert enquires from various sources into sales meetings and/or telequotes

  • Ensure strong correspondence with the sales team

  • Maintain our CRM system, keeping up to date records. contact logs and information on each enquiry

  • Ensure the careful recording of data for reporting to the Sales Director

  • Schedule others' diaries for our expanding Sales Consultant Team

  • Assist at conferences to promote the company and gain new sales meetings

  • Work with the larger team and the other departments, to ensure exceptional customer service is maintained


Who we are looking for

We're looking for a team player, a quick learner who is a confident communicator, proactive and positive in their approach to work. You must be quick on computers and verbally agile on the phone, able to strike a great first impression and build relationships. We would love someone who enjoys a healthy lifestyle and already has an empathy for children and their outdoor learning. Prior experience in a similar role and/or knowledge of the National Curriculum and targets for 0 -11 year olds in England and Wales and the UK play Industry would be advantageous.

Job Details


  • Job Title: Sales Coordinator

  • Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

  • Place of Work: SK11 9AP (a 20 minute walk to the closest train station - so you're best off driving here)

  • Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 (dependent on experience) + Company Targets and Incentives

  • Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus bank holidays (with a Christmas shutdown bonus scheme)

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

  • Start Date: ASAP
