How Will You Spend Your Sports Premium?
The continuation of sports premium funding will help schools continue to use physical education, sport and physical activity as a tool to improve educational attainment, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.
Our Sport products ensure pupils leave primary school physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle and commit to a lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
Here are a few exciting and effective ways to spend your Sports Premium:
The are so many exciting options that will achieve the following objectives:
- Increase pupil participation in competitions, sport and events.
- A lifelong positive attitude to exercise and a healthy lifestyle
- Broaden the sporting opportunity available to pupils.
- An opportunity to experience success beyond the academic area
- Train pupils to become Young Sports Ambassadors (to support their pupils throughout the school in physical lunchtime activity).
- Improvements in curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities
A school surveyed their children to measure the impact of their new MUGA (Multi Use Games Area):

Sue Simmons - Thornton Primary School, Birmingham
Thank you Pentagon Play for helping us to create this fantastic space for our children.
Heaher Jacskon - Ash Grove Academy, Macclesfield
The children were absolutely thrilled with the soft surfacing and they feel like they have a new play area. The design and splashes of colour around the pieces of equipment surpasses any initial ideas we may have had. We have always used Pentagon for the development of our EYFS, KS1 nad KS2 play areas, They are very professional and genuinely care about creating exciting play facilities for pupils and always give a bespoke service.
Sue Molloy - Our Lady of the Rosary, Manchester
It is amazing, I love it! One of your guys came back yesterday to fix the pipe to the water butt as there was a gap, but other than that perfect. It looks great, the parents love it and the children love the sand pit and the pulley system. Can I just say how great all the people working on it have been which is a credit to your company. Thank you so much.
Judith Earl - Pownall Hall School, Wilmslow
I cannot recall another company that I have worked with who was more focussed on what we wanted or easier to deal with. From the initial meeting with Rachel, to the exceptional work that Toby and the team undertook over the last two weeks (often in foul weather!), nothing was too much trouble and it has been a pleasure to work with you all.
David Robson – St John’s CE Primary School, Kent
It has been extremely positive, it is the first time I have worked with Pentagon and we are already in the process of talking about future projects.
