Designed to support developing hand-eye-foot coordination - allowing children to make ever more accurate and precise movements - the Stepping Stone Traverse will help them develop the skills they need to succeed with all kinds of essential everyday tasks, such as writing, getting dressed, using cutlery and many more. Balancing on the platform discs, using the ropes to help guide them as they step their way from one end to the other - it’s more of a challenge than first meets the eye! They’ll be working their core muscles as they find stability, gripping and pulling on the ropes, building upper body and fine motor strength. Foot placement and flexibility are key. They can weave between the ropes and move from two-footed to one-footed steps as their confidence grows - one small step leads to one giant leap.
