Tackle the narrowest of crossings with the Tightrope Bridge with Rope Handrails. The solid timber frame that supports the crossing appears to rise up out of the playground, presenting a ‘perilous’ tightrope traverse to feed children’s imaginations as they make their way through this treacherous part of the Forest Trail adventure! Gripping on to the rope handrails for balance will help to develop fine motor control. Placing their feet carefully on the tightrope, one foot in front of the other to cross to the other side, allows them to practice good balance and coordination. They’ll improve their core strength by using the lower body for stability.
