Bring literacy and storytelling to life outdoors in any area of your school playground with our wonderful Freestanding Storytelling Chair.

Stories, such as the Gruffalo, can be read in the school's forest area while children gain a natural sense of freedom and fascination from their surroundings and the story.

Children will be excited to sit in the Storytelling chair and read out loud to the class; growing in self-confidence, improving spoken language and understanding turn-taking.

As well as participating in 'hot seating', children will love acting out their favourite part of the book together as they indulge in their surroundings.

Books can even be left outside, during dry weather, from playtime to lunchtime, with the handy built-in book storage shelf underneath the seat.

Practitioners can easily move the Freestanding Storytelling Chair to different areas of the playground to provide fresh inspirations and locations for children to read their favourite books.
