Wetpour Roundabout

Our Wetpour roundabout is a great addition to your Early Years playground roadway, creating a more realistic roadway environment.
As children race around the roadway on bikes and trikes, they will begin to stop at the roundabout for other children to go around first, learning how to take turns. The roundabout will teach children about road safety in a safe environment and the basic rules of the road.
However, teachers can also take children outside into a safe environment to begin teaching road safety before heading outside of the school grounds.
As children will use the roadway most weeks, they will begin to relate their learning to real life experiences out on real roads such as stopping and looking to see if anything is coming before crossing.
Through having a realistic playground roadway, children will develop their understanding of the world while enhancing their imaginative play.
