This version of our Sliding Sand Pit includes a roof to provide children with shade from both wet and sunny weather conditions. With an angled roof, children will get added protection from water and sunny rays.
Sliding open and closed (with the ability to lock into place), this lid is more than simply a lid - reinforced with timber joists so that is can take your children's' weight and double-up as a performance stage, Our design also includes plastic sheeting under the deck boards to keep the sand dry eliminating a common problem with most other Sand Pits.

Technical Details

- Sand Pit Size (L x W x H): 1450mm x 1450mm x290mm
- 'Play grade' sanded, high-pressure treated timber
- Slides open/closed on nylon wheels
- Lockable lid in open and closed positions (with padlock)
- Doubles as a stage - the lid is reinforced with timber joists
- Supplied with Play Sand
Guidance for use:
- Sliding lid must only be operated by adults, and kept locked in either an open or closed position at all times
Please note that lids are designed to keep organic matter out of the sand. They are not designed to keep your sand dry.
