Stretching your budget to provide all of the much-needed resources for your pupils can be tough task, and we know that this can sometimes mean that your equipment is outdated, worn down or just not that much fun anymore.

This is why we’ve created our Essentials Range! Packed full of learning potential and exciting play opportunities, the products in this range have been designed with your budget in mind.

One of Pentagon’s main missions when we were founded 25 years ago was to contribute to ensuring that all children, no matter their ability, background, or circumstances, would have access to exciting and engaging play spaces. Our Essentials Range is just another step onwards in our mission.

One thing that was key for us when designing this range was that customers weren’t sacrificing quality just to save on cost. Our Product Design team worked hard to find the best costing materials, that would still offer a robust, visually appealing product, but would also act as a much more affordable alternative to some of our higher-end products.

A range that will continue to grow and expand over time, this range begins with just 3 of our most popular items- a Mud Kitchen, Water Channels, and a Tuff Spot Table.

The Essential Mud Kitchen offers you a realistic messy play space for your pupils to explore, building their understanding of the world and sensory processing. It’s also great for communication and language development as pupils build their own stories of play, using the open serving hatch, etched hobs, and chalkboard panels as props. Pupils can open up the doors, twist the controls and stack things in the storage below as they imagine themselves in a café, a bakery, or another exciting location.

The Essentials Tuff Spot Table is perfect for most class activities, indoor or outdoor. Sitting at an accessible low-level for pupils of all ages to access it, the Tuff Spot Table can be used with water, sand, paint, mud, or any other material you can think of, with raised sides to prevent mess. With this table, you can easily assemble and disassemble it, simply slotting the legs together to create the base and popping the tray on top. This Table also comes with dividers and water channels, meaning you can lead a range of different activities, depending on your pupils’ interests.

The Essential Water Channel Hooks are like nothing we’ve ever produced before. If you don’t have the space or budget for a Water Wall, then these Water Channel Hooks are perfect for you. Simply attach them to any fence or gate and slot the channels in however you like. Children can then rearrange them as they send water, cars, toys, and other items down the channels to their chosen destination. They will learn all about key scientific concepts such as gravity and the water cycle.
