With over 13 years of experience in beauty therapy and a Level 3 qualification, Lauren built a career around people, organisation and creativity before bringing those skills to Pentagon Play. After time spent travelling and working as a beautician in Australia, she embraced a new challenge in administration and quickly became a key part of the HR team, helping the department grow and thrive.
Her people-focused approach and love of organisation have made a huge impact on the way Pentagon Play supports its employees. From working with every department to helping individuals develop, she finds great joy in seeing colleagues succeed and in knowing that her work contributes to making a difference for schools and children across the country.

A Bit About Me!
When I was little I dreamed of being a hairdresser and I did just that, starting my career in the beauty industry before life took me on a very different path. I even travelled to Australia where I worked as a beautician and embraced my adventurous side. The higher the slide, the better, I was a real little daredevil.
Some of my happiest childhood memories are of playing games with my brother and sister in the front garden of our first home. That love of fun and connection has never left me, although these days I have swapped playground adventures for days out with my eleven month old daughter who keeps me very busy.
Away from work I have an 11 month old baby who keeps me very busy and I also have a secret love of gaming, especially horror games that really get the adrenaline going!

Every day at Pentagon Play is different, and that’s what I love most about my role. I get to work with every department across the business, supporting people and helping teams to grow. Seeing colleagues develop and succeed is incredibly rewarding, and it’s amazing to know that the work we do together is making a real difference for schools and children across the country!
