With a strong background in childcare and safeguarding, Siobhan brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as an Outdoor Learning Advisor at Pentagon Play. As the first point of contact for schools, nurseries, pubs and holiday parks looking to transform their outdoor spaces, she guides customers through their options and helps them start their journey towards the perfect playground.
What Siobhan loves most about her role is the people she works with. No two days are ever the same, and the supportive, laughter filled team makes every day enjoyable. Joining Pentagon was an easy decision after hearing about the company’s positive culture and commitment to work life balance, something especially important to her as a busy mum of two.

A Bit About Me!
When I was younger, I wanted to be a pirate, although deep water and sea sickness soon put an end to that dream. Instead, I followed my passion for making a difference in children’s lives, beginning as an apprentice in childcare and working my way up to manager of a setting where I stayed for over a decade.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places with my partner and our two children, or relaxing on the sofa with a cuppa (or a big glass of wine depending on how wild the kids have been that day). My childhood was spent outdoors until the streetlights came on, something I am grateful for in a world before technology. A fun fact about me is that I once trained to join the Army, making it to week nine of basic training before discovering I was five months pregnant with my first child.
When it comes to playground memories, I always loved climbing, the higher the better.

As an Outdoor Learning Advisor, I am often the very first person customers speak to when they begin their Pentagon journey. I take pride in listening to their ideas, talking them through our products and solutions, and helping shape the first steps in creating outdoor spaces where children can play, learn and grow.
