Within the Yorkshire and The Humber area of the UK, we’ve worked with a fantastic 250 primary school and nursery settings to provide plenty of opportunities for learning through play, through the transformation of their outdoor environments.

By working in collaboration with teachers, parents and of course, the children themselves, we’ve helped create extraordinary outdoor environments unique to each individual setting.

Leeds

Working alongside academy trusts, primary schools, nursery chains and individual nursery settings, we’ve created unique and exciting outdoor learning environments to fully benefit each and every child attending the setting. Each outdoor space has been designed and installed with improving children’s educational play experience in mind.

Sheffield

From huge MUGA pitches to energising active place spaces to promote a healthy lifestyle, we’ve installed it all in Sheffield! Each and every one of our playground projects have been designed in collaboration with the teachers, parents and the children themselves to ensure their play areas are unique.

West Yorkshire

Designing spectacular playground environments that enhance children’s educational play experience is our speciality! Throughout West Yorkshire, we’ve designed numerous amazing outdoor play areas that are unique to each and every setting, providing children with a fun, educational play space.

Yorkshire

Throughout Yorkshire, we’ve created plenty of exciting outdoor environments for a range of settings, including SEN schools, primary schools, academies, independent nurseries and chain nursery. Each outdoor space has been designed with the settings needs in mind, whether that’s encouraging active play or ensuring the curriculum can be taken outdoors.

Rotherham

About Yorkshire and The Humber

Throughout Yorkshire and The Humber, we’ve helped transform the outdoor play experience for over 250 primary schools and nursery settings: providing plenty of opportunities for learning through play for their young learners.

While enhancing each child’s educational play experience, we’ve worked in collaboration with the teachers, parents and even the children themselves to paint a picture of what they’d like their outdoor space to look like before transforming their playground dreams into a reality.

Here, Rachel Law from Richmond Hill Primary Academy based in Leeds, part of the GORSE Trust, explain how they found our process:

“Throughout the whole process, Pentagon were open and willing to make any personalised changes to meet our pupil’s individual needs. They were extremely supportive throughout the design process and understood the need for amendments in order to maximise the space for our children.

Our children absolutely ADORE the provision. We have seen a clear decrease in our children’s overstimulation within the classroom environment as they now have a phenomenal, high quality and well-planned space for them to explore.
