Jonny is the creative mind behind many of Pentagon Play’s most loved products. As Head of Products, he leads the design and development of exciting playground equipment that inspires young imaginations and supports educational development. Every design he works on is carefully crafted to spark joy, encourage active play, and deliver real value to schools and nurseries across the UK.
With a passion for play, education, and innovation, Jonny works closely with teams across the business to turn big ideas into brilliant, buildable products. He’s driven by the desire to make a real difference to children’s lives – and seeing pupils interacting with the equipment he’s helped design is what motivates him most!

A Bit About Me!
As Head of Products, I’m lucky enough to design fun, exciting playground equipment that makes children and teachers smile. I’ve always believed that great design should do more than look good: it should have purpose, support learning, and give children the freedom to explore their creativity.
At Pentagon, I love the collaborative approach. I work closely with our fantastic sales teams to bring ideas to life and get the chance to speak with teachers and pupils about what really makes a difference in their settings. My aim is to include as many educational benefits as possible in each product, whether it’s encouraging movement, teamwork, or imaginative thinking.
What makes this role so rewarding is seeing the final product being used by the children, hearing their laughter and watching them explore something you helped create is a feeling like no other.
Outside of work, I’m a big music fan. I love discovering new sounds and going to gigs to enjoy live performances (there’s nothing quite like the energy of live music!).
My Work at Pentagon Play
I lead the Product team and oversee the full design journey – from concept sketches to final product roll-out. I collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure every new product is packed with play and learning value, while always prioritising safety, quality, and fun.
