Playground Equipment For Key Stage 2
As Key Stage 2 learners progress and become more and more mature, they need to have access to an outdoor learning environment that still pushes them to achieve more.
At this stage in their development, children have identified certain strengths and weaknesses that they have and our innovative playground designs can help children develop their strengths further and help rectify their weaknesses. For instance, our Multi-Use-games-Area (MUGA) will give children the platform to practice a sport that they are naturally gifted at and a Wildlife Area can be used to introduce children to concepts such as PH levels which will help prepare them for topics in secondary school.
The entrance to the school was looking particularly tired and uninviting with equipment that couldn't be used. This area has now been transformed into an inviting, exciting and engaging space for the children to use. The children particularly love the 'climb through tunnel hill' trying to find different ways up, over and through which has benefited their core strength and balance as well as communication skills.Diane Charman - Oakridge Junior School, Hampshire
The nursery equipment transformed the outdoor area and now the children always want to be outside whatever the weather, developing their imagination and creative play.Diane Charman – Tiny Oaks Preschool, Hampshire
The children absolutely love their new play equipment. Both KS1 and KS2 use the climbing frame every playtime and parents supervise their children after school. The whiteboard and chalkboards are great because they are just the right height for the children and can be used in all weathers. Year 1 is very excited to use the water wall at playtime and they have all had fun using the sand and water trays. Reception is very keen to go out and use the outside area and the new play equipment has really enhanced the outdoor learning environment.Gill Gressieux - Sedgeford Primary School, Norfolk
The children really like performing on their new stage, they use it most playtimes and particularly enjoy the fact it has a roof aspect. Some days, they participate in imaginary play and others they enjoy sitting and talking. As staff, we use it for presentations and worship opportunities. Overall, it really compliments the play equipment next to it and is a much nicer and welcoming area. The children make very good use of their new play space!Karl Joyce - St Marys Primary School, Thornbury
Excellent efficient service, thank you.M Griffiths - Newton Primary School, Chester
I must say, the service from Pentagon was fantastic and their knowledge of EYFS was important when helping us to develop our new area. What was once a muddy and underused space, is now an attractive free flow environment with plenty of resources for play and learningChantal Lancashire - St Teresa's Catholic primary School, Bristol
