4 Amazing Playground Projects In Cheshire
An Inspiring Active Play Area For Huntington Community Primary School, Huntington
Working closely with Huntington Community Primary School, located in Huntington, Chester, we installed a magnificent and stimulating active play area for the KS1 and KS2 children attending the school.
In the KS1 playground, we created an enchanting cross-curricular pirate themed playground environment for the little pirates and sailors in KS1.
Central to the design, our imaginative Play Ship sits in a sea of blue Saferturf, representing the Atlantic Ocean and the sand of a Barbadian beach, inspiring the children to participate in imaginative and creative role play activities.
In addition, we have also installed a Trim Trail made up of a huge variety of active play equipment to extend the physical play opportunities offered to the young children.
Duncan Rose, Huntington’s fantastic headteacher, didn’t want a standard trim trail or active play area for the children. So we worked closely with him to design and install a stimulating space that would truly inspire the children to get active while enhancing their key physical skills as they play.
Their brand new active play space is an amazing outdoor area, which features a massive selection of varied challenges for the children to complete.

An Outdoor Classroom For Learning Amongst Nature at Norley Primary School, Frodsham
Norley CE Primary School, located in Frodsham, Cheshire West and Chester, contacted Ian as they wanted to create an area in their school grounds where they could take whole classes of children to learn amongst nature.
Ian worked with the school to install a magnificent Outdoor Classroom Gazebo that has been situated in a secluded area of the school’s field: taking away the constraints of the indoor classroom, creating a thriving outdoor working environment.
A whole class of thirty children can be taken outdoors to participate in lessons in a practical setting, where the children have space to rest their books and write along with space for teachers to present information that the whole class can see.
