A Bit About Me!
I spent the first few years of my life in France before moving back to England when I was three, and now I live just six minutes from work, which is very convenient! I’ve always been into sport, especially swimming, hockey and basketball. I actually thought I’d grow up to be a swimmer, but life had other plans and I absolutely love what I do now.
P.E. was always my favourite subject at school, mostly because I’ve never been very good at sitting still! That’s probably why this job suits me so well. I get to be on my feet all day, building brilliant things that go on to make a real difference to children’s play experiences. Every day in the workshop brings something new and rewarding.
Fun fact: I’ve got webbed hands, and for the longest time, I thought everyone else did too! It wasn’t until I was about nine that I realised I was a little bit unique!
My Work at Pentagon Play
My favourite part of the job is how varied every day is. One moment I’m helping bring a new design to life, the next I’m problem-solving in the workshop. I love collaborating with our product designers to take their exciting ideas and turn them into practical, functional builds. Whether we’re tweaking a prototype or improving production efficiency, it’s all about making sure every detail works perfectly before it reaches the playground.
